The Philippine Institute for the Deaf [PID], the Pioneer & Premier ORAL School for the DEAF in the Philippines since 1987, is ONE of the Outstanding NGOs at the Philippine Centennial Celebration in 1999. PID is TEACHING DEAF CHILDREN TO SPEAK, LIPREAD, READ and SUCCEED in mainstream schools and achieve their dream careers and live self reliant lives.
